CP Connect worked closely with Australia’s leading acoustic consultants Acoustic Directions to install a state of the art sound system to complement the new hall build during the BER programme in 2010.
It became apparent to the users in the school that the hall did not cater for the many different uses that was required for the busy programme of a large primary school including school bands, orchestras, drama, assemblies, P&C fundraising events, information nights and sports lessons.
Using steered arrays we were able to ensure uniform sound levels throughout the floor and reduce reverberation with the application of acoustic panels.
After the first assembly a young student was heard to say ‘wow, I’ve never heard an assembly so clear – what a difference.’ The upgrade was considered by the school community as a worthy long term investment.
